How do you direct a film when everyone knows the story and ending?
In a way, that’s an advantage. That people know and love the book means that people know and want to see the movie, which is what you hope for when you’re making a film. It’s a fine balance between being as faithful as possible to the spirit of the book, and bringing changes. I regard myself as fan as much as any other, and the way that I see the book in my head is just like any other fan’s ability, except that I happen to have tens of millions of dollars at my disposal to realize that vision. One hopes that it’s a strong enough envisioning of the book that people will be amused and entertained and excited even though they know how things are going to end.

One of my favorite New Moon conspiracy theories is that the producers are ordering Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson to keep their love hidden because it will affect the way people will perceive the story, even though the story is already known even until the next two books.

The fans know what the Volturi look like or what Taylor Lautner as Jacob’s amazing bod is going to look like—the producers know these things are big points of curiosity about whether we’ve been able to be faithful to people’s notions. And they want to parse these things out over time. [Laughs] It is a conspiracy, but the conspiracy is called marketing.

Kristen Stewart i svensk tv!

Hejsan på er allihopa! Tänkte bara försöka underlätta för alla er som håller på att döööö av längtan till släppet av New Moon! Klockan 23.55 ikväll visar Svt1 Filmen "Panic Room" där vi kan se den underbara Kristen i en av huvudrollerna! Så sätt på tvn vid 12-tiden, ladda upp med lite gottgott, och njuut! Det tänker jag göra i alla fall!

Blommans läs-dagbok!

Har nu fått låna "Så länge vi båda andas" av Calle! (Välkommen hit förresten :D)
Så nu ska jag sätta igång och läsa den! Kommer (precis som Elin) föra dagbok här över det jag har läst. Skriver om sånt jag gillar och inte gillar och andra funderingar. ja, tror att ni fattar! Skriver nog inte ett inlägg efter varje kapitell jag läst, men någon gång ibland! :D

"I understand that right after the news broke that you had
joined the Twilight family, fans went crazy and you got some intense reactions
from your friends. Has the hype died down at all for you?
Yeah. I
mean at first everybody was going crazy and everyone was congratulating me.
They’re still all really excited and it hasn’t…no, they haven’t calmed down that
much. *laughs* I have a Twitter account, and that hasn’t calmed down
at all, I’m still getting the same amount of followers. Everyday. On the first
couple of days I was getting A LOT, and now its not quite as many everyday. But
it’s been about the same pace. My friends have calmed down a little bit, but
they are still really really really excited.

I’m sure you are too
Yeah I am. I mean, I used to
be just jumping up and down everyday. Every time somebody mentioned it, I was
like “yay!”. But I’ve calmed down.

It’s been almost a month…do you feel more comfortable going
into the role or are you still adjusting to its attached
intensity?
I’ve gotten used to the idea. At first I was completely
shocked and I couldn’t believe it. But when you think about it, it really is
just like any other set. It’s just that it happens to be a very, very famous
movie. But it’s not really any different than anything else.

So you’re approaching it the way you would any other
role?
Yeah

Are you making any physical changes for your role in
Eclipse?
Well, I was hoping that they were going to cut my hair,
actually. *laughs* My hair is so long, and it’s nice. But it’s too long, and it
drives me crazy all the time. I don’t think they are going to cut my hair, but
oh well. I already do gymnastics class. I don’t have to do it for the movie, but
I’m just doing it anyway."

Eclipse’s superhot newbie isn’t anticipating having to face
screaming

The actor
plays Royce King II, the good-on-paper fiancé to Nikki
Reed’s Rosalie Cullen, in a flashback sequence.

”I don’t think I will [face the madness] because of my
part,” he
told E! News at the G-Star Raw fashion show. ”I’m actually kind of a nasty guy.
I’m her fiancé who ends up basically trying to rape her. It’s rather
horrible.”

There’s a chance we may never have met Royce and the small but
meaty part may not have even existed were it not for David Slade taking a
meeting with Huston.

”I went in to the director and he very sweetly wrote
this part up for
me,” the actor admits. ”It was kind of a nice compliment from
him.”

Now, as for those costars of his…
Sadly, Huston has only spent one
day on the set thus far, and that was with Reed, much to his relief.

”She’s actually a real sweetie and the very first day she made me feel
very welcome,”
he says. ”We were away from the madness which is, I think,
Robert and Kristen. I
think they have hundreds of incessant fans following
them, which, fair enough.
We were quite lucky. We were in the park,
beautiful, and it was fun.”
The hottie, who’s often compared to Johnny Depp,
doesn’t worry that those incessant
fans will throw things at him because of
the nature of his ”cameo”-sized
character.

”I hope not,” he says. ”I’ll be like, ‘It’s not me, I’m an actor!
I’m not really evil. I’m a nice guy.’”

Huston, who also can be seen in ABC’s upcoming show Eastwick and
walking red carpets alongside his girlfriend, So You Think You Can Dance’s Cat
Deeley, is humbled to be involved
in the vampy
franchise.

”It’s a great film to be a part of,” he says.

”This is a small part, but a relevant part in the movie. I think it’ll
be cool.
Hopefully.”

bland annat att hela New Moon Soundtracket listan släpps på FREDAG!!!!!

Ms. Patsavas, known for her work on television shows like “Grey’s Anatomy”
and “Gossip Girl,” said she was confident that the “New Moon” soundtrack would
include Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and Band of Skulls. Death Cab for Cutie’s “Meet Me
on the Equinox,” the first single, had its premiere on MTV.com on Sunday, as
part of a “Twilight” promotional blitz surrounding MTV’s Video Music Awards.
There has been extensive speculation in the music industry all summer about who
else would be included. Representatives of Grizzly Bear and the Killers said
those groups would be on the soundtrack, but Ms. Patsavas declined to comment,
saying that the track list would be completed and announced on
Friday.—-All the music for “New Moon” is new, and Ms. Patsavas said
some artists were shown scenes from the film as a guide. Chris Walla, a
guitarist in Death Cab for Cutie, said that he had read two of the “Twilight”
books when the band recorded “Meet Me on the Equinox,” in July, but that the
lyrics, sung by Ben Gibbard, are more suggestive than literal.

Hon säger ungefär att hon tycker att det är kul att spela en av "människorna" i New moon eftersom det ger henne mer frihet att utveckla sin rollfigur än vad vampyrerna har eftersom twilightläsarna världen över inte har en lika exakt bild av "Jessica" som de har av vampyrerna med deras speciella förmågor. Jag tycker att Jessica gjorde ett superjobb som Jessica i Twilight och jag tror att hon kommer göra det i New moon också!

Hihu på er Twerdar! Presenting vad som kanske är sveriges första manliga Twilight-bloggare;
Det är jag som är den nya bloggaren i gänget! Stoort tack till Ronja och blomman och alla andra ni som låter mig vara med! Calle heter jag och jag är 16 år gammal och går andra året på gymnasiet. Jag är precis som de andra bloggarna ett extremt stort fan av the Twilight saga och är helt besatt av den underbara värld som Stephanie Meyer har byggt upp i sina böcker! Jag kommer att hjälpa till här på bloggen med nyheter precis som alla andra och när jag har pejl på hur det funkar så hoppas jag kunna vara med och utveckla Breathing Twilight till Sveriges största Twilightblogg! Jag säger bara det, 2010 är vi stört! haha. Jag hoppas att ni läsare kommer att tycka om mig, jag skriver ganska så excentriskt, men det är bara eftersom jag älskar Twilight så mycket! Twilight och Catherine Hardwicke har fått en plats i nästa års Guiness rekordbok i kategorin:
"Highest-Grossing Movie By A Female Director" som man på svenska skulle kunna säga: den mest inkomstbringande filmen regisserad av en kvinna :D
STORT GRATZ PÅ DET!
Boken kommer man kunna köpa den 17 september i butiker i USA, men vi vet inte när den landar här osså :D
