Robert Pattinson är MTV News #6 Man Of The Year :D

In 2009, all eyes were on RPattz. Despite only releasing one movie, there were few people whose face sold more magazines, whose every word made more of a ripple and whose public appearances caused such a stir. Under such pressure, a lot of 23-year-old actors would end up getting into trouble, indulging to the point of excess and disappointing their fans. But somehow, the uniquely suited-for-stardom Robert Pattinson took it all with a good-natured grin and self-deprecating charm. Anna Kendrick är nominerad för Golden Globe awards :)

"Brand new Fender Telecaster signed by ultra hot Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) from the Twilight movie series. Rob happened to be shopping for instruments at Norm's Rare Guitars and Norm (a great friend of The Midnight Mission), asked him if he'd sign a guitar that could be auctioned off to support the services of the charity.

Rob was gracious enough to say yes and do it. This terrifically talented actor and singer/musician even consented to have his picture taken with the signed instrument. I didn't post it here, but have it available for authentication (believe it or not this humble actor is a bit camera shy when not at work). Get this now!! I have seen tons of signed pictures and posters, but not a Fender guitar. And as you real fans know, Robert is an excellent musician - he plays piano, guitar and sings! So it's a winner - a great and unique gift for you or someone you love and you help people who don't always feel loved."

Ashley Greene i Teen Prom Magazine!

Just last month, Ashley Greene was out celebrating her sultry Maxim cover, now she’s back on the newsstands, with a glammed up look for TeenPROM 2010.

The ”New Moon” star is gracing the cover of the magazine in an elegant purple dress with a bow and embroidery in the front, for a feature story spotlighting her role as spokesperson for DonateMyDress.org, a charity which distributes used prom dresses to underprivileged teens. In the issue, Ashley shares her prom story and dishes out some good advice for the big night. Of course, she also manages to sneak in a few ”Twilight” bits.

The actress, who is no doubt busy prepping to reprise her role as Alice Cullen in ”Eclipse,” the next installment in the ”Twilight” series, got involved with DonateMyDress.org because of her own experience trying to save up for prom.

”I bought my dress and I pretty much paid for everything because my parents really didn’t have the money to pay for something like that. I worked for it, so I think it meant that much more to me because I had to save up,” she tells Prom2010.

In the end, Ashley put together enough to buy a fitted full-length dress with bronze and gold sequins and a plunging neckline (her mom made her cover-up with a shawl). She has since donated the dress to the charity. ”I had my prom dress forever until I became a part of the charity and donated it,” says Ashley. ”It’s amazing to see girls’ faces light up [when given a dress]. It’s really fun because I get to interact with these girls and share the experience with them.”

As for her big night, Ashley says it turned out perfect. ”I went with my high school sweetheart and had a blast. I had that fairytale prom everyone talks about. It’s something I’ll remember forever.”

Now, Ashley’s hoping to help other young girls have their fairytale night with some choice words of advice. ”Definitely plan ahead because the actual day can be kind of stressful. Planning everything out helps a lot,” she says, adding that its also a good idea to pick out a dress you can easily dance and move around in.

Most importantly though, Ashley says it’s key to stay true to your personal style when picking out a dress and makeup — even if you’re tempted to go overboard. ”Be yourself and don’t overdo it. People have a lot of anticipation for an event like prom and end up overdoing it or wearing too much makeup. Really make sure you are comfortable because then you’ll feel beautiful, instead of going overboard and asking yourself, ‘Oh my gosh, what did I do?’”

While charity work seems to be top on the 22-year-old actress’ priority list lately (she recently filmed a PSA to fight global poverty), Ashley also manages to dish some details on what it was like to shoot ”New Moon”. ”With ‘Twilight’, I was just so nervous and new. I didn’t know what to expect,” Ashley tells the magazine. ”With ‘New Moon’, we had [already] portrayed these characters and the fans responded to the movie and loved it.

”Also, Alice’s part became more pivotal. I got to do some action, and basically guided Bella through the whole second half of the film. I was so thankful that it happened in the second movie because I’m not sure I could have handled it in the first one.”

One of the things she helped guide Bella through in the first movie? Getting ready for prom, of course! We’ve got a feeling Ash didn’t need much direction when it came to filming that scene…

"New Moon star Ashley Greene is still getting a grip on her rise to fame — but with a full slate of upcoming projects, she’s making sure her career extends beyond vampires and werewolves.

”Instantly we have this fan base, instantly we have these careers and people know who we are,” says the actress, 22, who likened the rush to ”instant happiness. … People now actually care about what projects I’m in.”

Greene was 17 when she moved to Los Angeles from Florida after graduating high school a semester early, and now, after being cast as prescient vampire Alice Cullen in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire romance series, Greene’s visibility has skyrocketed. In addition to the release of Twilight: Eclipse June 30, Greene has two additional wrapped films under her belt.

Just like the first two Twilight movies, Eclipse has a different director, David Slade, who Greene says is ”definitely different from Catherine (Hardwicke) and Chris (Weitz). He is technically the most specific director that I’ve ever worked with.” Greene says fans of the franchise should expect Slade to ”bring a darker element to this film. He seems to kind of specialize in that.”

That darker side includes Alice as well. ”In (Twilight), you see that quality about Alice that makes her so lovable is she’s so positive and upbeat. In (New Moon), you see how she takes these uncomfortable situations and she’s sassy and she brings light to a dark scene,” Greene says.

”In (Eclipse), you get to see a little bit of a darker side when her family is in danger. You get to see once again that she is an animal and she’s not human.”

As for adding non-vampire films to her résumé, Greene will be at Sundance in January for the premiere of Skateland. ”The fact that we’re going to Sundance is a validity factor for an actor doing something you’re passionate about.”

In Skateland, Greene stars as Michelle Birkam, a girl-next-door type who befriends a cool kid with a job at the local skate rink. It’s set in the 1980s, so ”I look just like my mother,” she says. ”It’s crazy!”

Greene, who filmed Skateland in between Twilight and New Moon, also has wrapped Warrior, now in post-production, which stars Twilight buddy Kellan Lutz. ”I got done with Twilight and went independent-crazy,” Greene says.

Indies aside, she just landed the lead in The Apparition, a big-budget Warner Bros. thriller being produced by The Matrix’s Joel Silver.

”To be the lead in my own box-office film is just another step,” Greene says. ”A couple of days before, I probably won’t be able to sleep, but I’m not even nervous about it now. … I’m just like one of those giddy girls who wants to make sure everything is perfect for the first day of school. I’ve already planned a week (before filming begins in Berlin) to turn off my cellphone and just focus.” And with even more screen time in New Moon, which has grossed more than $267.4 million to date, she’s familiar with the craze that comes with being in a box-office sensation.

”It’s so strange, because we spend months on set, and then it’s like, by the way, this is what’s been brewing while we’ve been working,” she says, referring to Twilight’s fearlessly devoted fan base.
”I’ve gotten asked by people to get a lock of Rob’s hair,” she says of co-star Robert Pattinson, who drives teens and older women alike wild as vampire Edward Cullen. ”I’ve even had girls come up to me and ask to smell my hair.
”I’ve gotten proposals, and I always wonder, what would (people) do if I said yes?”

SNMag: What has it been like joining the cast of Twilight?

BDH: It’s a really extraordinary series and obviously the franchise really reflects what Stephenie Meyer has created with a lot of integrity. She’s so involved with the movies and it is really wonderful. It’s really an incredible storytelling moment. And people are really connecting with and responding to that. So I read the books and I just did my best for the character Victoria. I just wanted to do my best not to interfere with the books.

SNMag: Did you feel pressure coming into this, with the character already being established?

BDH: Yes, of course I did. Rachelle [Lefevre] did an extraordinary job at creating Victoria and part of the joy of a franchise like this is getting to see not only the characters grow but the actors continuing to grow with the characters. That’s a lot of the joy in the Harry Potter series. Every time I see one of those movies it’s so exciting to see them because they’re all getting a little bit older and different things are happening to them. It’s like watching a TV show. You start to connect with the actors really deeply. It was really unfortunate for everybody that Rachelle left. I did feel, I don’t know if I should say a pressure, but an enormous responsibility because the fans felt really strongly about the role of Victoria and they felt a deep connection to Rachelle, which they should because she is also beautiful and talented. I really did do my best and I hope that whatever work I did can somehow honor what had been created before and what was created by Stephenie. I felt really grateful to this because Rachelle and I have connected. She’s an amazing woman and has been enormously and overwhelmingly helpful.

SNMag: What was the shooting like for you? Did you have an opportunity to hang out with the cast and bond with them?

BDH: Oh, yes, I mean they’re a very tight-knit group of people who are just wonderful. They’re incredibly authentic and none of them are getting swept up by the mania of this. They just care about each other and are protective of each other. They are just a great group of friends. I feel like all of these people would have been friends regardless. They all bonded through this amazing moment that’s happening in their lives.
