Mike stöttar Anna :D

MTV’s Larry Carroll recently talked to Mike about Anna’s recent Oscar nomination for Best Support Actress for her role in Up in the Air.
“There are a lot of people in this that are capable of the kind of work that could lead to an Oscar nomination,” he said of the immensely popular series. “It doesn’t happen to many actors.”
“Anna deserves it. She has an uncanny ability to get under the skin of her characters,” Michael said of the “Up in the Air” actress, who plays Jessica Stanley in the “Twilight” films. “She really seems to understand the mindset of the girls she plays.”
“It’s almost as if she starts out with clichés that we are all familiar with, then builds the character by figuring out their world view, making them unique and personal and therefore turning them from clichés into real people,” he marveled. “Her characters are familiar, but one of a kind. It’s remarkable.”

Pierce Brosnan om robert :)

Pierce Bros­nan, who stars with Robert Pat­tin­son in the upcom­ing Remem­ber Me, has only praise for his young co-star.
He tells Parade.com, ”Remem­ber Me with Robert Pat­tin­son is a really beau­ti­fully writ­ten piece about a fam­ily cop­ing with the death of one of their boys. I play Robert’s father, and for me it’s about the loss of a son, while from his per­spec­tive it’s about the loss of a brother.”
“It’s noth­ing like Twi­light but it packs an emo­tional punch. I think you’ll see Mr. Pat­tin­son giv­ing a fan­tas­tic per­for­mance, which will prove he’s really work­ing hard on his acting.”
Bros­nan also touches on the pan­de­mo­nium sur­round­ing Pat­tin­son. He says, ”We filmed in New York and there always seemed to be a hun­dreds of scream­ing teenage girls around and I knew they weren’t scream­ing for me. I know it’s tough for Robert to cope with that kind of attention.”
“I’ve been there and I sym­pa­thize with him, but I think he’s han­dling it quite well. I think that, so far, he’s got it under control.”
As Gos­sip Cop broke ear­lier in the week, Pat­tin­son will pro­mote Remem­ber Me on “Late Night with Jimmy Fal­lon” on March 1, and then again on “The View” with his co-star Emi­lie de Ravin.

Ingen "bakom kulisserna" för New Moon :(

som ni vet så gjorde ju Twilight's regissör Cathrine en bok om hur dem gjorde Twilight, men tyvärr kommer det ingen för New Moon med Weitz :(

Tjo!
Vill bara tipsa om bokserien "House of night" som består av (en så länge) 7 böcker om vampyrskolan House of night!
Jag har läst första och en bit av andra boken i serien och tycker att de är fantastiskt bra! De handlar om Zoey som blir "Marked" vilket innebär att hon får ett halvmånsformat märke i pannan och får börja "utbilda" sig till vampyr på "The house of night". De som går på skolan utvecklas sakta men säkert till vampyrer. Problemet är bara att det är inte allas kroppar som klarar av förvandlingen och de dör...
Det visar sig även att Zoey inte är som alla andra vampyr-nybörjare...
Jag tycker böckerna är jätte bra! Jättebra, ungdomligt språk! De är ganska enkla att läsa, vilket gör att det är lätt att hänga med även på engelska. Jag har läst de på engelska och jag tipsar nog att om ni klarar det så läs de på engelska. Kan tänka mig att de är bättre!

In tabulating up-front fees, we assume people get paid when filming starts; thus, only movies that commenced shooting in calendar year 2009 are taken into account. (That’s why we don’t count Brad Pitt’s $10 million fee for Inglourious Basterds, which began shooting in 2008.) For those lucky enough to earn money on the back end, we did our best to determine whether they were gross-point or net-point players and applied our math accordingly. (Example: Pitt’s fee for Inglourious Basterds was an advance against 9 percent of the gross. With some $160 million in studio revenue, Pitt stood to collect a total of almost $14.5 million, minus his $10 million advance, leaving him with $4.5 million from the film for 2009.)

A star’s participation in DVD sales is taken into account, but that generally is small change, unless he or she is one of the few director-producer types who have negotiated exceptional deals. We have not counted royalties and other revenues when the figure is under $500,000.
