Från David Slade: Till alla fans!
För att fira att den officiella Facebook-sidan har fått mer än 6 000 000 fans så har David Slade gått ut med detta till oss alla fans:
Dear fans of The Twilight Saga,
I want to congratulate you for reaching over 6 million fans on The Twilight Saga Facebook page.
It’s hard to fathom that it was just over one year ago that I started constructing this third and epic adventure which takes place in the town of Forks.
I want to share a story about one of our days of shooting with you.
It was a Friday night and the rain was relentless. We were at La Push to shoot the tribe’s histories, a great speech by Billy Black. We had Taylor and Kristen and the whole wolf pack around a campfire as the heavens let loose on us.
Gil Birmingham was in fine form as the rain hammered down on us all, we adjusted our lights so that the rain vanished into the black of night.
We constructed a tent over the scene to keep everyone dry as we worked, every 15 minutes or so we would have to tip it to stop the collecting rain from splitting the fabric.
For some reason still unknown, around 3am, the wolf pack stood exactly in the way of several gallons of rainwater as it was being cleared. Being the wolf pack, they just laughed it off as they stood there soaked to the bone.
We worked through the mud and the rain all night, until we had the scene perfected.
As we left, dawn was now cracking and in the dim light I passed a small army of fans who had braved the weather for the entire night, still standing there, holding drenched flowers and waiting to get a glimpse of our actors.
So, to those of you who stood behind our security, who waited in line at theatres overnight, to those of you who just love these stories, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a love letter to you.
Each day I felt the weight of your favourite scenes, your favourite lines, your dreams and your imagination.
It has been an unforgettable journey, and now as I finalise the last prints to ready the film for your local theaters, I cannot wait for you to see it.

On the action in Eclipse: “You read these books and you can’t wait to do some of the cool stuff. For myself, I read all four of the Twilight books as soon as I could and then I was so excited to get to Eclipse. You never know if you are going to make it that far. It’s up to the fans if they want to see the sequel, or see the second book, on the big screen. I’m just glad we made it this far. I love my character. I love this franchise.”
On what’s changed since Twilight took over the world: “You know it’s really funny because … It hasn’t really changed my life as Kellan outside of acting. I still hang out with my dogs. I still go to the same places and shop. It’s funny, maybe I have to make sure I’m wearing the same color socks or the same shoes or I don’t look like a bum … But really the only thing that has changed is the fans are great, we have more fans.”
On planning his career out: “Careers do change and unfold differently. Especially now as it’s very saturated where you have to be choosy, and can’t just take it for the money. You really have to be smart. You have to know who is directing it and who you’re working with. It’s all about longevity. You need to play it smart, just like any job.”

Ny intervju med Jackson :)
”Obviously, I’m going to star in Twilight the musical.”
You might know Jackson Rathbone from the Twilight series, where he plays Jasper Hale. And you might know Jackson Rathbone as the rock musician who plays in the band 100 Monkeys. But soon you’ll know him as something else – the sci-fi action hero from M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, an adaptation of the Nickelodeon anime cartoon.
Does anyone call you by your real first name, Monroe? I still go by Monroe when I am in trouble with the law.
Which is… often? Very rarely; very rarely. I don’t get so much as a speeding ticket these days but I am a habitual parking violator.
I know M. Night Shyamalan is famous for his secrecy. But what can you tell us about The Last Airbender?
Well I can say it is going to be an amazing action film; it’s got the most incredible CGI. We got ILM working on it, which is Industrial Lights and Magic, and it truly is magic, honestly, at the end of the day. We are shooting on the green screen, we have a character called Appa? Which is a big bison kind of flying bear creature? And that’s me, I’m a big flying bear creature.
Nice try. Okay, no, but I get to ride it!
Not a real flying bear?
No, I rode a fuzzy saddle. It was about 15-20 feet off the ground. It’s on this kind of rocking thing… They were moving it, and there is a big green screen behind you. Night’s yelling, “Okay, you’re flying through the air now!” You’re like, “Okay, I am flying through the air now.” And oh yeah, I had to be flying through the air, and no, I wasn’t on any drugs.
Maybe there was good liquor on set?
I can hold my liquor! I’m from the South, come on now. You know, I love Jameson Whiskey, and I love Bud Light, I keep it pretty simple. I was actually in a bar recently, and they only had three beers on tap, and it was Bud with lime on tap! I had to give the bar tender a little, you know, guff for that one. Are you kidding me? You don’t even have Bud Light on tap? You don’t even have Lonestar on tap? You only have Bud Light Lemon-Lime?!
So you can’t bend water. What else can’t you do?
Iron. You want to watch me iron, you’ll see how bad I am. I like my clothes wrinkled anyway, so it’s fine.
You’re an actor with a band, 100 Monkeys. Do you think you’ll do anything to combine those two passions?
Obviously, I’m going to star in Twilight the musical. The scary thing is, I bet they’re totally making one, like, right now!

Helt otroligt...
För bara någon vecka sen fíck vi ju veta att Taylor Launter och Kristen Stewart skulle komma till Stockholm, Sverige! jag menar ju verkligen Sverige (ni tycker säkert att jag är konstig nu men fortsätt läsa ;)) och det var spänt då det endast skulle vara en presskonferans för media...
men nån dag sennare släpper TwilightSweden meddelandet från Nordisk Film om ett fan-event på Hovet samma dag med både Tay och KStew!
Sen släppte man info om biljetterna som skulle vara gratis och skulle släppas i Stockholm, Göteborg och Malmö den 3 juni (Idag).
Själv insåg jag snabbt att det skulle vara omöjligt att få tag i biljetter om det inte skulle gå o köpa dem någon annan stans då jag pluggar och inte precis kan ta tåget till stockholm för att komma fram vid 00:00 i natten...
lite lyckligare vart man när Twilight Sweden och SF.se började lotta ut biljetter men vann inget på TS...
Suckandes tänkte jag att det var kört men då kommer lilla syster in med sin kompis, hennes underbara kompis som jag knappt hälsat på och hennes kompis som köade för att få tag i biljetter...
och det fick dem! närmare bestämt 4 stycken!
Och gissa om jag vart chockad när lilla systern skriker högt i vardagsrummet för några minuter sen och kommer utstuddsande till köket för att berätta att dem här underbara människorna fixat biljetter till oss!
Vi ska alltså på fan eventet i Stockholm den 21 juni!
Det är helt sjukt otroligt att det finns sånna underbara människor som Nettan och Steph som fixade detta åt oss! Det finns verkligen änglar på jorden!
Jag kan inte ritkigt uttrycka i ord om hur lycklig, tacksam och ännu mera tacksam jag är! och ett enkelt "Tack så mycket" räcker liksom inte heller!
Men vi är båda fruktansvärt tacksamma ändå!
Så Tack, Tack! Tack! Tack!

For the July issue of Vanity Fair, Norman Jean Roy photographed the spooky beauties of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse—five vampires (Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Bryce Dallas Howard) and one lone lady werewolf (Julia Jones). Nancy Jo Sales was on set, where, between takes, the girls mused on the gothic romance that has everyone palpitating.
Nikki Reed plays the disapproving Rosalie Cullen. Here’s her take on the story’s appeal: “Bella and Edward’s love is very taboo and forbidden,” says Reed, “and I think that kind of represents all youthful relationships, because that’s what all first loves feel like. … It’s sort of borderline, like, insane.”
Elizabeth Reaser, who plays vampire mom Esme, exclaims on the attractive young men of Twilight: “Oh, it gets so old, you have no idea,” says Reaser. “It has no effect on me. They’re all gorgeous and lovely boys. … You just want someone interesting and weird at a certain point. I have a massive crush on Larry David.”
Bryce Dallas Howard, a replacement actress playing vampire-with-a-vengeance Victoria, is a Twihard: “I had seen Twilight innumerable times. After I saw it for the fourth time, one of my best guy friends, for my birthday, made me Post-it notes with Robert Pattinson’s face that said, ‘Live Dangerously,’ because I was so obsessed. My husband actually said to me, ‘Do I need to be worried about this?’”
Ashley Greene, who plays psychic vampire Alice, anticipates success: “You don’t have to be psychic to know how this movie’s going to do,” she says. “Obviously, it’s going to be a hit.”

Dream Magazine i ny intervju med Jodelle
What was it like working with Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Robert Pattinson?Amazing! It was so much fun. You never know whether celebrities are going to be really nice or complete snobs (but most of them are nice) so it’s always reassuring to know that they haven’t let their fame get to their heads. I was a little nervous meeting them, but once I got to know everybody, that wore off, and I didn’t really think of them as celebrities anymore. I really enjoyed being able to meet and spend time with the whole ECLIPSE cast. I’ve actually worked with Kristen before, on THE MESSENGERS, but that was before the whole Twilight/Bella thing happened. It was great to work with her again. It’s too bad I’m not in BREAKING DAWN! But I’m not complaining. The fact that I got to be in ECLIPSE is amazing.
Have you read the TWILIGHT SAGA books before you found out about ECLIPSE?
I think I was just finishing the BREAKING DAWN book when I got called for the Bree audition. I loved the series, it was absolutely fantastic. I’m a total bookworm, and I just can’t put a book down once I start reading it. Especially a good book. So I didn’t get much sleep while I was reading the TWILIGHT series. I can honestly read until 5 o’clock in the morning if I’m really into the book. Probably later, if I wasn’t afraid that I’d fall asleep while eating breakfast.
