The host filmen har en regissör!!!
Exclusive: Susanna White ("Nanny McPhee Returns") is attached to direct the feature adaptation of "The Host," author Stephenie Meyer's follow-up to "The Twilight Saga."
Nick Wechsler will produce the indie through his eponymous banner, along with Chockstone Pictures' Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz.
Andrew Niccol ("The Truman Show") wrote the sci-fi drama, which concerns a young woman whose body is inhabited by a benevolent alien soul after an invasion of Earth.
White made her directorial debut last year with the "Nanny McPhee" sequel, which grossed more than $93 million worldwide.
Vi fick en fråga i kommentarerna häromdagen om "The Host" ska bli film och ja, detta inlägg bekräftar det ju lite mer ;) Vi ser detta som något väldigt kul och hoppas tt ni vill ha mer new om detta ;)

Det har nämligen kommit ut en lista där em beskriver vilka dem vill hitta att spela rollerna i Stephenie Meyers bok "The Host"
Roles to be cast (numerous additional supporting and day player roles also to be cast):
[MELANIE "MEL" STRYDER] Female, early 20′s. Attractive, tall and athletic, naturally tan skin, long dark brown hair, and hazel eyes.
[WANDERER/WANDA] Female V/O. Invading soul that inhabits Melanie Stryder’s body.
[JAMIE STRYDER] Male, 14-16. shaggy black curly hair, chocolate brown eyes. Melanie’s younger brother.
[UNCLE JEB] Male, late 40′s – late 50′s. Wild beard, eyes the color of faded blue jeans. Melanie’s feisty eccentric uncle.
[JARED HOWE] Male, 20′s. Handsome, physically fit, tan skin, sienna-colored eyes, and sun-bleached hair. Melanie’s lover.
[IAN O'SHEA] Male 20′s. Handsome, pale skin, dark hair, and striking blue eyes.
