Directed by Nikki and Whitney Dean, the clip offers a small peek into the twosome's year-long relationship, as the newlyweds walk hand-in-hand through a leaf-strewn field and duet atop a rusted-out Volkswagen Beetle. In anticipation of the release, we put a call into the couple (who were driving down to Santa Monica for the weekend) to talk about their labor of love.

"I'm always walking around the house with a guitar, and I'm always writing songs and stuff like that," Paul said. "Nikki's a great writer and she always kind of sings along with me. I'm like, 'Dude, you have a great voice. Why don't we do something?' When we were on the way back from France, this song kind of happened on the plane. We just got together and wrote it."

"Basically, what Paul and I are learning about each other, which is so awesome, is I'm a completer. I like to complete things and Paul likes to start things. It's really great," Nikki continued.

And so it was that Paul handed Nikki the beginnings of "Now That I've Found You," which she put the finishing touches on in about 20 minutes. Coming up with the video concept, however, wasn't quite so easy. Nikki originally had a June Carter/Johnny Cash-esque performance treatment in mind, but scrapped it for something a bit more stripped down.

"I wanted it to be simple and sweet and tell the story of two people and have it be more about the atmosphere," she said. "I don't know if you notice, but there's a very specific choice in there with cuts and specific shots that are partial and you can only see parts of our mouths and hands. I don't want to dwell on the shots of us for too long."

With Nikki at the helm, Paul said the filming process felt like any other day together. "It was easy. It was kind of weird because at the same time we're shooting the video, and I'm wondering if Nikki's going to be acting," he said with a laugh. "She's really good to work with. It all just kind of fell into place. She didn't boss me around too much."
