It has just beenannounced that Pat­tin­son (“Edward Cullen” inThe Twi­light Saga: New Moon and The Twi­light Saga: Eclipse and “Tyler” inRemem­ber Me) is pitch­ing in for a local Hawai­ian Montes­sori school fundrais­ing drive by donat­ing auto­graphed posters and aTwi­light book for the Montes­sori Hale O Keiki’s annual fundrais­ing gala, “The Orchid Ball.”

Pattinson’s signed gear will go up for auc­tion at “The Orchid Ball” on Feb­ru­ary 5th, and it appears that pro­ceeds will go to ben­e­fit the local Montes­sori school program.
Nice guy, huh?

You might remem­ber some of Pattinson’s other char­i­ta­ble con­tri­bu­tions of late. Last spring, Pat­tin­son auc­tioned off a smooch for AMFAR (while pro­mot­ing Remem­ber Me at Cannes), and only recently, Pat­tin­son pre­sented for George Clooney’s famed “Hope for Haiti” telethon (in Lon­don, Eng­land) with the fol­low­ing speech:

It seems that many of the Twi­light cast mem­bers have grown a very char­i­ta­ble bone, and even lit­tle things like this make a huge dif­fer­ence. The more the mer­rier, right?
